ROM / HOF Awards

The Great Dane Club of Canada is proud to announce the inception of Register of Merit (ROM) and Hall of Fame (HOF) awards! These awards are designed to recognize Danes who have made substantial contributions to the breed.

SHOW NEWS

The Great Dane Club of Canada, through it's three Divisions, holds numerous Boosters and Regional Specialty Shows, as well as an annual National Specialty Show each year. The divisions rotate the hosting of this show.

ANTI CROPPING LEGISLATION

The GDCC feels that presentation of Great Danes with cropped ears is representative of our breed's heritage and, should we no longer be allowed to present our Danes in this manner, an important part of our breed history could be lost. Consequently, the GDCC has chosen to support our members' right to choose whether or not to crop their Great Danes. Click here for more information.
